01 / Information
WHAT WE PROCESS.
The website has no account system. If you use our contact form or email us, we process the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, email address, destination, travel dates, group size, playing level, accommodation preferences and the content of your enquiry. The form sends your enquiry to our contact email through our hosting service.
The hosting service may also generate essential technical logs such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and security events.
02 / Purpose
WHY WE USE IT.
- To answer questions and prepare the travel or padel services you request.
- To confirm courts, coaches, accommodation, transport or local experiences when you ask us to plan a trip.
- To maintain the security, availability and integrity of the website.
- To meet legal obligations and handle or defend possible claims.
We do not sell personal data and do not use enquiry data for unrelated advertising.
03 / Legal basis
WHEN PROCESSING IS LAWFUL.
Trip-related enquiries are processed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and, where applicable, to perform that contract. General enquiries and essential security logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in communicating with visitors and protecting the service. Legal obligations apply where records must be retained by law.
Optional Google Analytics measurement is based on your consent. It stays disabled unless you choose “Accept analytics” and you can withdraw that consent at any time. There is currently no newsletter subscription on this website.
04 / Recipients
WHO MAY RECEIVE IT.
Personal data may be processed by suppliers needed to operate the website and email, including the Nominalia hosting environment. When necessary to prepare or provide a trip you requested, limited information may be shared with the relevant club, coach, accommodation, transport or experience provider.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics may process measurement data on our behalf. Google may process information outside the European Economic Area under its applicable data-transfer safeguards. We have disabled Google signals and advertising personalisation in the website configuration.
Some travel providers may be located in Thailand or another country outside the European Economic Area. Any necessary transfer will be limited to the requested service and handled using an applicable legal safeguard or permitted GDPR derogation. Material sharing will be explained during the booking process.
05 / Retention
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT.
Enquiry data is kept only for as long as needed to answer the request and manage any resulting service. Information connected to a booking may then be retained for the periods required by tax, accounting, consumer and claims legislation. Technical logs are retained according to operational security needs and the hosting provider’s applicable settings.
Google Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years unless you withdraw consent or clear them earlier. Analytics reports and event-level data are retained according to the settings of our Google Analytics property. When other data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised unless a legal obligation requires continued retention.
06 / Your rights
YOU STAY IN CONTROL.
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where the relevant legal requirements are met. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send your request to hello@thailandpadeltravel.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request comes from the correct person. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) ↗.
07 / Cookies and tracking
ANALYTICS BY CHOICE.
Google Analytics is optional and does not load until you select “Accept analytics”. If accepted, it helps us understand page visits, navigation and the general performance of our travel guides. Measurement may include pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source and interaction timing. We use measurement ID G-H201EKRRDW.
Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies, normally for up to two years, to distinguish visits and maintain session state. We do not enable advertising cookies, Google signals or advertising personalisation. The contact form uses an essential session cookie, tpt_contact, to protect submissions against misuse. It is separate from analytics and is not used for advertising. Short-lived submission counters help limit spam without storing the content of enquiries.
You can refuse without losing access to the website. Use the “Cookie settings” button shown on the site to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection from this site and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not retrospectively remove information already included in aggregated reports.
08 / Updates
KEEPING THIS ACCURATE.
This policy will be updated when the website, booking process, suppliers or legal requirements materially change. The current version is published at this permanent URL so that changes can be reviewed easily.
The service is not designed to collect personal data directly from children. An adult organising family travel should provide only the information genuinely necessary for the requested service.
